Common Goldeneye Decoy Carving Workshop Part 3
Contact 204-467-3300

This is day 3 of the Common Goldeneye Decoy Carving Workshop.

Learn to carve your very own Common Goldeneye decoy from award winning carvers John Frye, Bill Palmer, Harry Williams, Ross Gage and Richard Whittom.

This three day course will teach you the classic North American art of decoy carving. The head and tail will be carved from white pine while the body, from a special watertight bonded cork.

The decoy will be fitted with glass eyes, ballasted keel and painted with oil colours to represent a Common Goldeneye drake. Self-righting, the decoy is designed to float like a duck on the big, often rough, water of Manitoba lakes.

WORKSHOP FEE IS $100 FOR MEMBERS AND $120 FOR NON-MEMBERS. SOLD OUT
Location Oak Hammock Marsh - (Hwy 67 between Hwy 7 & 8 )
