The Interlake WAVE Artists of Manitoba

The Interlake WAVE Artists of Manitoba (WINNBAC), commonly called The WAVE, is a registered non-profit cooperative of artists that was founded more than 20 years ago. The group has 2 projects that would be of interest to tourism: The WAVE Artists’ Studio Tour, a free self-guided tour of open studios on June 11&12 and Sept 3&4 2022.

Adventures with Art is a group of WAVE artists that can be booked by groups, conferences, families for workshops, presentations, mini-WAVE tours-in studio or at a location of your choosing. Our website and printed guide serve as a year-round guide to Interlake artists; many studios are open by appointment year-round. WAVE Artists will have a pop-up show/sale during GIFF in 2022.

The WAVE is on FB, Instagram, and has a YouTube channel in addition to our website.

Twice a year, artists in Manitoba’s Interlake invite the public to visit their studios and share a slice of their creative lives. The tour focuses on the art & culture of Interlake communities – essentially a self-guided adventure! www.watchthewave.ca

Winnipeg Beach Art + Culture Co-op is a non-profit cooperative, run by artists, for artists. We so appreciate our growing relationship with WAVE-goers, and the Manitoba art community alike. Through this community, we hope to engage, inform, and educate by inviting a dialogue with you.
