This world renowned wetland offers over 30 kms of trails for recreational uses.Trails are open for use year-round for many activities, including hiking, cycling, horseback riding, skiing and snow-shoeing.Visitors should register at the Interpretive Centre before using the longer dike trails as there are no shelter, water, food, or bathroom facilities along most of these trails. There are many shorter trails that are suitable for leisurely strolls. Trails closest to Interpretive Centre are accessible to all.
The Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre is being re-named the Harry J. Enns Wetland Discovery Centre in honour of a former Manitoba politician and conservationist who was a strong proponent for establishing the centre nearly 30 years ago.
