Committee Responsibilities:
As a member of the ITA Tourism Development Committee, your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing the Tourism Development Fund – Program Information & Guidelines: Gain a deep understanding of the program’s objectives, guidelines, and criteria to ensure efficient evaluation of grant applications.
Reviewing Grant Applications: Evaluate grant applications submitted by tourism-related projects seeking funding. This critical step ensures the allocation of resources to initiatives that align with ITA’s mission and goals.
Decision-Making: Utilize a carefully developed matrix to make informed decisions regarding grant awards. Your insights and expertise will help determine the projects that will receive financial support.
Meeting Format:
The committee will hold two meetings, and both will be conducted via conference calls. This format allows for flexible participation, making it convenient for members from various locations.
