Gimli Model Air Festival- Gimli/ RM of Gimli
Located in Gimli at Minerva Field this annual mid August festival is held from Friday to Sunday of the middle weekend of August. Thousands come to fly their helicopters & planes and visit with friends they have come to know over the years of attending many of these air festivals.
Oak Point Community Club- Oak Point/ RM of St. Laurent
One of the oldest Metis settlements in Manitoba is found nestled along Lake Manitoba’s shore just north of St. Laurent, off of Hwy # 6 and forms the backdrop for the Oak Point Community Club & their culturally based music festival.
Started 6 years ago as a one day family gathering & picnic it has become a 3 day event of music, culture & slo-pitch.

Her tours include day or evening walks, meeting local fishermen or artists, exploring areas in all seasons. Growing & finding more partners to work with will see Heather’s adventures moving across the entire area.

Found on Glen Bay Rd & Hwy #222 north of Gimli this location bodes well for visitors & locals as well. With years of experience in the Food Industry as a chef at places like Pinewood Hollow & 529 Wellington Karen’s tasty dishes are both tempting & tantalizing morsels selected with you in mind.Both inside & patio service is available, with Open Mike night and High tea on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons as an expanding base for product offerings.
Town of Arborg- Arborg Pool – Town of Arborg
A unique facility in the Interlake that markets itself as a ” A Splashing Good Time”, featuring 3 water slides, 25m lane pool, numerous spray features and a pre-school play area, center vortex area, beach entrance and a picnic area.Opening in August 2009 it has quickly become a destination for many families, groups & organizations as a great getaway on those hot days of summer.
