Volunteer of the Year Award

This winner typifies the word ‘Volunteer’. Active in many aspects of community life and dedicated to their ITA member organization, giving generously of time and effort with no compensation for thousands of hours over the years. Our 2008 winner is always ready with a “yes” answer when called upon to assist, from the smallest clean up tasks to large and demanding projects. Their display of support in their organization and how it impacts the Interlake region is important to their organization as well as ITA. Serving on their Board of Directors and being a “go to person” within this organization, a contact for others & a great ambassador speaks volumes we can all learn from. Important to not just one organization but many throughout their community – making a difference for others!
