Ever since I was a little girl I have been coming out to my family cabin in St, Laurent Manitoba. My Grandpa’s Dad and Uncle built the cabin in the 1950s. Every summer my family and I have been living at our cabin. This all changed when the flood of 2011 hit our and many families’ homes and cabins. After many years of repairs and updates on our cottage, we are finally in a state of peace.
Notice the little library on the right. Three years ago we started our little library on Venice Road. Now there are multiple libraries down our road!
The Beaches
St. Laurent beaches are often overlooked. These beaches include Sandpiper Beach, Twin Beaches, Pioneer Resort, Laurentia Beach, and Johnson Beach.

The highlight of the park is the Big Tree which somehow survived the dreadful flood in 2011. Visitors are encouraged to take photos of the over 325-year-old cottonwood tree.
Meindl Parc (Parc Meindl) at Twin Beaches is another great public beach great for families and people of all ages.
The sunsets in St. Laurent never fail to amaze me! This was taken at Twin Beaches.
