Gimli Art Club & Sea Wall Gallery

GAC has played a vital part in the growing arts community in the Interlake since 1969. Over 60 members take on a greater role in the community with children’s programs, workshops, and the renowned Seawall Gallery. The Seawall murals depict stories and history of the Interlake, painted and maintained by Gimli Art Club members. You can see the Seawall Gallery at any time of year. It covers a 900′ concrete barrier built to protect the Gimli Marina from the high wind and waves of Lake Winnipeg.

The gallery is open to the public daily from May long weekend through September long from 11 am – 5 pm. It features original paintings, collage works, pottery, glasswork, photography, and sculpture. A wide range of artistic endeavors provides you with choices for that perfect gift for those special occasions. A proud partner in The WAVE Tours at Flag #30 in both June and September.

After the September Long weekend, they open weekends from 11 am-4 pm until just before Christmas. During winter, it becomes a workshop space with times for classes in a diverse range of mediums, active in the community year-round.
