Against the prairie skyline, a “Prairie Sentinel” stands to attest to the agricultural base of the area. This elevator was built in 1948 to serve the needs of the growing farming communities of Warren, Woodlands and the surrounding area.
It is one of the last wooden grain elevators in the Interlake, and it is found at the West Interlake Trading Co. site in Warren. Tours are available for groups and on special events.
Developing custom experiences in the west Interlake for over 10 years this group would enjoy building a special event for you.
The site and Elevator have been used for weddings in the past, a unique and solid part of our agricultural past being kept alive.
In 2019, the Elevator joined the Interlake Barn Quilt Trail when the two (2) largest Barn Quilts in Manitoba, if not Canada were added to the exterior of the Elevator. Come by and see them.
