Interlake “BARN QUILT” Trail

Welcome to the Interlake Barn Quilt Trail!

51 Beautiful Painted Quilt Blocks from Steep Rock to St. Andrews, Gimli to Warren

Quilts have always told a family’s story; it’s like their DNA! Join us as we are “Quilting our Roots Together” across the region on our Interlake Barn Quilt Trail. You’ll take a self-guided tour of the Barn Quilt sites (soon to be over 40) viewing the colourful, painted quilt art enhancing the landscape.

From Oak Hammock Marsh in the south to Steep Rock in the northwest, you’ll see a variety of designs and enjoy the charm of the Interlake. Go to Warren to see the two largest [12′ X 12′] barn quilts that adorn the walls of the 1948 Wooden Grain Elevator. These are believed to be the largest Barn Quilts in Canada.

More to come down and around Lake Winnipeg to the east side of the Red River with two in place on Henderson Ave just south of Hwy 44. Follow online to see the Quilt Locations grow to encompass the entire region.

Become a part of this wonderful gift of Art & Beauty! Would you like to join the Interlake Barn Quilt Trail?
